offer closed. now 9 months 1/2 price!
good spot though0 -
I ordered this just after 10 last night.
The offer changed to 9 months half-price this morning, then again to 5 months at 2.99 this afternoon.
I just had a call from OSPS saying they can't do the original 9 months free as the offer has changed and the adviser would not admit they had made a mistake. They would let me pick any other advertised contract, but since they work out to 3 times as much, I declined.
I expect the tracked £20 via Quidco will disappear soon!0 -

Actually, OSPS is unusual in that they haven't in the past clawed back commissions on orders that are cancelled or have had the credit check failed - this is why their commission is only £20 as opposed to £30+ for many other retailers. In comparison, most retailers only pay commissions for successful orders delivered.
That said...don't be fooled into thinking you can place mulitple orders and cancel them just to build up a Quidco balance. Knowing OSPS, you could end up with multiple contract packages delivered to your door anyway.

12 months free, but you are on an 18 month contract
Equates to a free phone for £10 a month!
I realise claiming cashback is a pain, but if I succeed, should have the cheapest deal around.0 -

Seems to be a osps sales policy on new handsets - launch with a very good deal and quickly make ther deal sowrse once there is a buzz for the handset - and as they only process online orders as and when rather thna when theuy are recieved those who order online to take advantage of cashback generally won't get the deal. Last year they did this with the k750i but rather than asking people if they wanted a different offer they just sent out the handsets on the lower cashback terms. I think trading standards may have had something to say about this so I guess now they are asking first. Reestit Mutton is the expert on this - and he got the extra 30 quid back for me on the k750i so thanks.I think....0 -
