It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

  • Evening all,

I came home from work at lunchtime as I felt rubbish. I'm pleased to say, I feel a bit better - just wish the sneezing would stop!

My DS and another little boy at the childminders have broken the 'sensory den'. They sat on it and knackered the motor that powers the lights.

I feel awful and dont know how best to make him understand the consquences of his actions. He has apologised but I think he should do something else...

  • Bunny - hmm! Are there chores he could do at the childminders? Can you tell I don';t have any kids yet!?

No LMC, I think that's a good idea. Bun he is very young and was simply acting his age.

She will have insurance for her job and these sorts of things will be covered. How lovely to have a sensory room. Does she have or look after autistic children then?

*thinks Linda should stop off in Telford on the way back up the M6*

Just had a text off my friends sister:

C is awake but the machine is still breathing for her. She is rather a poorly young lady. She doesnt remember what happened and can't speak. Rather upsetting seeing her like that. Thank you all for your kind wishes.
