Thirsty Thursday 18th March daily chat thread

Wot no chat thread???????

I didn't go running last night, I was struck by the mother of all migraines and had to go to bed with a towel over my head :(

Hope everyone has a great day! :o
...Linda xx
It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

good morning, i've had the night and morning from hell so far and its only 8.30 lol.

had nightmares last night about my bathroom, dreamt i went on hols when i came back everything had been stripped out but nothing would fit back in so was left with an empty shell of a room,

then when i came down this morning, the kittens had emptied the contents of the larder unit all over my kitchen floor!! there was a huge mess to clean up :(

Going to barry with mum today for her reflexology, so gonna dash and have a shower

linda hope the migraine has gone

    Morning all.

The endless cycle of housework continues here today.

Hubbles has taken all but a couple of slices of cake to work so that temptation has been removed.

  • Morning,
Heard from my friends' sister this morning again-she is still in a coma (induced) and they arent sure if they are going to wake her up today or not. She has had a scan and they think there arent any head injuries but there might be a broken bone at the top of her spine. They are going to operate on her eyelid today, it is very badly injured. She has a broken shoulder as well.

Her sister is obviously extremely upset and said she will let me know asap when they know more. she said to say thats to DH for being with her sister. Still v badly shaken up.

Today, I am mainly ironing and putting stuff on eBay and waiting for more news.

    Morning.

Linda, hope you're feeling better now.

Bunny, really sorry to hear about your friend, I hope she improves quickly.

Well, now my essay's out of the way I can have a day off before starting the next one, so I'm going to tidy up and just relax. Although for some insane reason I agreed to go to Gatecrasher with sister tomorrow . I have nothing suitable to wear and I'll be the oldest there by about 15 years. But at least it's cheap entry.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

morning all - bun, hoping your friend will make a full and speedy recovery, poor lass...

i feel for you and scott in this too, as it is a big shock when someone you know is involved in a serious accident.

    thinking positive thoughts.

i havent got any news today.

I had a laugh last night, got a text from someone

"that's me off to bed, miss u, love you, xx" - number not recognised

i said, "erm, who is this...? I think you might have the wrong number"

they said, "effing cheek babes, it's ryan"

I said "nope, sorry, you must have the wrong number! lol"

It made me chuckle anyway... i hope the woman wasnt waiting on her goodnight text!

Morning all.. big hugs all round. Bun just read what happened, really hope she has a good recovery.

I'm semi-full of the joys of Spring, slept really well the last couple of nights and it's warm-ish and I'm wearing short sleeves! Had a great meeting yesterday about the IT training they want me to do at work and feeling very optimistic about that. Unfortunately still have to do my normal job.. sigh.
