:rotfl: at elantan! Nice to see you here! The SS joke was a mere puff - and a downright LIE! Like I've got time for shenanigans of the boudoir type at the moment!

Que???? Am I missing something here? Have you forsaken Ray once again?

See above! No - Ray's still the main man, you'll be relieved to know. Although he's been rather quiet of late. Probably trying to find my hoover...

Hi Min...glad to hear from you and that the new job is fine....I'm worried about you burning out please stop and take some time out for you or you are going to be ill....

I'm already ill, taxi, and I deal with it. But you're absolutely right that I need to take some time out for myself and I'll be doing that this weekend when I catch up with some long lost chums for a girlie day out.

Hey, do you lot think I put Martin to shame? :rotfl:

    Dear Miss Minnie-Ray Spender

I notice a worrying trend in a growing number of pictures of Moozie in all her finery appearing here, there, and everywhere, and all supplied by you. It must take eons tracking her down all over t'internet and one wonders if:

    a) Your time could not be better spent?

    b) Do you have any worrying fixations?

    c) You found that Hoover yet?

One would also like to inform you that Ray was spotted looking somewhat "hirsute" and being exceedingly nasty to a couple of mucky bints up some Cold Mountain last Sunday evening.

    Worried from Daahhn Sarf

    xx

    a) Worry not - it takes me mere seconds. I've got it down to a fine art now (and I have a load in stock too!). I don't spend half the time on MSE that I used to because of various reasons. But when I do, I like to have FUN!

    b) Fixations? No. Just got to be a habit!

    c) Hoover? What hoover???????

    :rotfl:

Cold Mountain is great (saw it years ago) but didn't manage to find time for it this time around.

Believe me elantan, the last thing I need is SS getting under my feet - even if he did offer to dust in the buff!

The end of the weekend. Boo!

I made a real effort and have had two days of ME time - as lazy as you like and as self-indulgent as I could be on a fiver.

Met up with some girlfriends yesterday which was a real treat. Most of the afternoon was spent in a cheapy cafe drinking coffee and catching up. I highly recommend doing this if you don't do it. Big hugs all round at the end of the afternoon and bigs wows at how our lives have changed since we last caught up. And we'll be doing it all again in the next couple of months! I left with the feeling that I don't do this stuff often enough.

LA and her merry band of feather duster wavers will be delighted to know that I did some housework today. Oh yes! The kitchen sparkles like a new pin (I just did the one room - don't want to go mad, do I?). Left the shopping till the last possible minute today and got a load of cheap veg which has been turned into soup and curry. Supplies also bought for packed lunches for work which includes a whole heap of fruit for snacking on.

Budget stress today as well . I sat down with my spreadsheets to double check the full extent of the horror that awaits. My wages have been emergency taxed this month, and despite calls to payroll for them to sort this out (the P45 arrived in enough time) they have done nada. After all the essential outgoings have been taken off I am left with approximately £126 to last for (gulp) four and a half weeks. With trips back and forth to my relative to take out of this, I am a little concerned. Can I stretch it? Is there enough in the cupboard to feed myself? The next week is taken care of, but then what? I'm even thinking of asking for an advance at work to tide me over (bearing in mind that my tax should have been sorted out by next payday so should cover any advance) but I really don't want to have to do this.

Hey ho. A never ending story, eh, my fellow DFW chums?

Back to My Big Fat Greek Wedding I think. At least they're having fun!

awww min, big hugs re tax matter, that soooo sucks! I was very lucky when I started at the gym that I had a big pay which got taxed so I still had enough to live on....If things get desperate I'll call the red cross and get a care package sent off!

some good/bad news on my situation, will update on my thread xx
