Anyone get on the Vodafone half price (£7.50pm) mobile BB deal about 18 months ago?

I signed up for their mobile broadband with 3Gb limit just over 18 months ago for £15pm.
I remember not long after they had a half price deal, exactly the same for £7.50pm.
I am currently negotiating with them to stay and they have offered me 12 months at £7.50. Just wondering what they are offering those on £7.50 deal to stay longer.
I am guessing that after the first 18 months the £7.50 deal went up to £15 so the offer would be to stay at £7.50 but don`t know.
Anyone grap that £7.50 deal and have since negotiated a new price?
Thanks

I can't answer your question but I can tell you what deals I got...
Just over a year back I took a 12 month 3GB for £15 contract but got £90 Quidco cashback bringing it down to £7.50
Come renewal cashbacks had fallen and required longer contracts so I renewed as £7.49 for 9 months + the last 3 at £15 (but you can renegotiate during that last 3 I think).
Is your £7.50 for 12 months the entire contract or do they want you to take 18 months and pay £15 for the last 6? If so then the deal isn't as good as I got so you may be able to do better.0 -

Thanks for the reply.
The offer was to reduce it to £7.50 for 12 months. I already feel I have overpaid for 18 months having taken out the contract just before they halved it, so don`t want to agree to then find that those who have only paid £7.50 for 18 months are now being asked for even less to stay £5 maybe.
Just thought it was worth asking just in case.0 -
Well as I said cashbacks have fallen so it seems they are not as desperate to push these deals as they once were - possibly the iPhone is chewing their spare capacity (not that I've noticed any surfeit) at a more profitable rate?0

Hi guys,
I think it depends on which channels you go through, the website is good but the best Vodafone deals seem to be coming from the Web Relations Twitter team, you can contact them using @VodafoneUKdeals, not sure what kind of deals they are offering at the moment.
