Sony Ericsson Software probs
HI,
I've got a Sony Ericsson W550i, and it's developed a couple of problems!
When I delete texts the screen goes funny with strange lines accross the screen.
And now when I try to phone people, or if people call me, then I can't hear anything. It appears on the screen that I'm calling people but there's no sound at all, unless it's on speakerphone, and even then the sound only comes out of one speaker at the back.
O2 have told me that I need to send the phone in to be fixed, but that leaves me without a phone so I thought I'd do a software upgrade to see if that helps. (I'd rather have a new phone but I can't afford it and O2 won't replace it!)
But I've installed all the software but it doesn't seem to want to perform the update, and I can't figure out why!!!
I'm not sure if this is a techie problem or a phone problem!!!
ARG!! I can't live without my mobile!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sounds like a hardware fault to me and i think will need to be repaired
have you dropped it or anything?0 -
No,
I'm really careful with my mobiles, I did drop one once and broke it so I learnt my lesson the hard way!!
When I spoke to O2 they said that they will send me a replacement but if they think that it's broken due to user error then they will charge me.
I guess I'll have to send it back and be mobile-less for a while!:o0
