Notice pay

Hi hope you can advise me.

I was made redundant at christmas after working for the same company for 13 years.
The company went into liquidation and as of such couldnt pay redundancy so we had to claim it from the goverment.
I got my redundancy in febuary.

I signed on for jobseekers at the begining of january and was offered a job which started begining of Febuary.
To cut along story short i signed off the day before i was to start work then to find after i had signed off, the job was no longer avaliable.
I didnt sign back on and have been living of my redundancy payment since whilst looking for work.
I have now secured a permanant job starting in april.
Today i recieved a form regarding notice pay i have filled it all in, do i need to write in the white box in the benifits section about why i signed off in febuary ? as my notice period is from 24th dec 09 - 17th march 10, i signed off on the 7th Febuary
