Hi, sorry if this is a confusing story.
I need a little advice for my brother.
He was on a contract which lasted 18 months and he went to the 3 store on 19 Feb and changed over to a new contract with a new phone which starts on the 19 March. However, he was able to use his old number for a month and the old rates. The olod rates were £20 and the new rates £10 a month.
He only noticed a few days ago, but his "other costs" section was going up. We left it overnight and it went up 45p overnight with nobody touching it. It now stands at over £6.
Does anybody have any ideas as to what it might be and how shall I resolve this? We are planning on going to our local 3 store but how shall I approach it. Any advice is appreciated and thanks in advance! :money:

It sounds like it's data related. Has he got something on his phone that's connecting to the web, like some kind of updates?

Has he set the phone to check his emails?

Even if there are no emails to send or receive the phone still have to send the log in info each time. Over time this can mount up if its checking, say every 15 minutes. . .
