CEO of BT

I'm posting on behalf of my sister who has had an ongoing problem with BT for the last 2 months. Basically, they were supposed to put in internet connection but it's not working and she just keeps getting passed around various departments - but as she works from home she is losing work because of it :(.

Does anyone have the contact details of the CEO of BT (or other head honcho) please?

Thanks in advance :).

It is best if you email as you will have a paper trail.

Don't be under the illusion that he would deal with your problem himself if you contacted him by email or any other means. The exec office would deal with it (who, in my experience, are very good).

Thanks Stuart but it's not me - it's my sister and the problem she is having is that she can't email anybody because BT still haven't sorted her internet access after nearly 2 months!!.

She is on the phone to them every day but just keeps getting passed around the various departments who all give her different/conflicting information! One half-wit even said they would email her some information - HOW??????

Was just hoping for a number of someone who could actually get something done :(.

We understand that - but was hoping that he might give the issue a bit of a push. My sister works from home and is losing work because of this situation as well as having to spend most of her day on the phone trying to get this resolved :(. After almost 8 weeks she is, understandably, tearing her hair out at BT's attitude.

Hi, I know wha your sister is going through. They are a nightmare to deal with. I changed provider in the end. I am now going to take them to court. They have even had the cheek to send me a bill for leaving my BB contract early. I had not had the service since Dec 4th. Have a read of my thread about it. It will give you an idea of what you are up against.

Good luck with it all. I feel for your sister. I am now with sky and they have been amazing. And cheaper. And not an ounce of trouble.

It could well be a problem with her exchange. As mine was. Bt really do need to update their equipment. Which area is she in approx. I would be interested to know. I am looking at going to the newspaper about it as well.

Thanks for that smashedbooboo - have read your thread  and it sounds very similar. Unfortunately sister can't get on here to read it for herself due to no broadband :(.

What does jump out though is that the BT representatives that pop up on these boards don't appear to read the threads and seem next to useless anyway. Have they actually helped anyone resolve their problems or do they just post on here for appearances sake??
