    Thanks guys..:)

I have just found that when you hear folk moaning that they can't sell their car they are invariably over priced ie at the top of the autotrader range. When in reality those that are selling are normally at the bottom end of the range.

Interestingly I have just been outbid on a horsebox that was auctioned on Copart (stolen recovered) I bid £7,100 (sold for £7,900 + say 8% for fees). I reckon it is worth probably about £12k (on a good day) and £10k on a bad day.

One of the reasons I had a stab at it was if I couldn't sell for a turn it then we could live with it.

You owe me a new keyboard, I misread that as "we could live in it" :rotfl::rotfl:
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
  • I've recently sold a Nissan Note on Autotrader after failing to sell it on most of the free sale sites I could find (gumtree etc ). Basically I obtained a trade in price against the new car I was looking to buy and then added £500 to it which was midway between trade in and the average dealer forecourt price for the same model. I also took the maximum photo's including under the bonnet and interior. It took me a couple of weeks just after Christmas to sell it but the best advice is be honest about it.
