The superking size is huge. The mattress is 180cm x 200cm, but you need to remember to add a few more inches to these dimensions for the actual bed size, so that's nearly 6ft 5in wide by 6ft 11in long. Do you need a bed this size and more importantly will this fit comfortably in your room?
Ikea's 'ordinary' king size is still larger than a UK king size 160cm x 200cm - this is still 10cm (4 inches) wider and longer than a UK king size. You can still use 2 'narrow' single mattresses (80cm x 200cm) zipped into one unit on this bed. 2 single mattresses are useful - easier to transport and you can mix and match mattress types to get the right level of support for each person.
