New to O2, a few questions

I've just signed up to a 12 month O2 contract on the 400 minutes + 100 texts tariff.

I've been using 3 for the past two years and have never used O2 so I'm unfamiliar with a few things.

1. How can I find out how many free minutes / texts I have left? A search of the web suggests I can't unless I go online and check the O2 website. It seems ludicrous that this is the case. Presumably they hope you go over your allowance without knowing it so they can charge you!

2. Are calls to customer services free? If not do they come out of inclusive minutes?

3. Same question as 2 but for voice mail.

4. What are the charges for 0845, 0800 and 0871 numbers?

5. What are the charges for using WAP? Does it come out of free minutes, charged by data transfer or what?

6. How do I activate international roaming so I can make calls when abroad?

7. Is there an FAQ for O2 anywhere telling me things like what codes should be used to withold my number, turn call waiting on/off, short codes for voicemail, customer service etc?

I've tried looking on the O2 site, some things are easy to find out but there's a lot of information I thought would be easily accessable that I can't seem to find at all.

1. You need to check the o2 website, do you have a username and password? You need to bear in mind that its all 48 hours behind real time. This link should help...

2. For contract customers they are free, you need to call 402 from your mobile.

3. Voice mail comes out of your free minutes

4. 0845, 0870, 0800 and 0844 numbers are included in your inclusive minutes but 0871 isnt.

5. WAP/GPRS is charged by data transferred, call 402 for more info.

6. Call 402.

On 402, that number seems to be for "Select" contract customers but not for normal contract customers. How do I know if I am "Select" or not?

Dial 100 from your handset for free customer services.

You should be able to switch call waiting on and off through the phones menu.

I did have two codes somewhere that had something to dow ith the voicemail system, I will see if I can find them.
