I was contacted by csa about a child in dec last year that i had no idea i had so i disputed the case and went for dn test as it was a 1 night stand that i had 8 years ago and the test came back positive.
i only get £155 out of my wages as money taking straight out for loan i had to pay for dads funeral so i clear £155 a week but csa says they are gonna take out £75 a week out of my wages that would leave me £80 and my rent is £75 a week that lives me a fiver for food and travel expensis for week and i have my daughter from friday till monday but they wont take that into account unless its a court order even tho my daughter has been placed on child at risk registar and has been recomended by social services that she is to come stay with me every week as she has done since she was born .

Sorry, i'm a bit confused, do you have 2 children then?
They won't take into account your debt payments as that has nothing to do with your child.
What is your net income (after tax and NI)?
Does the £75 include arrears?Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind. They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.0 -
Well i thought i had 1 child until dna proved other wise and yes i now have 2 chidren 1 of whome ive never seen and my daughter and they said the £75 does include the debt of back paymants from 15 jan to present and money for dna test and when debt finnishes i will have to pay £53 but they said there not counting my daughter as i dont have a court letter to say i have her weekends and even a letter from daughters mum and social worker/services doesnt count.0

Whatever debts and things you need to pay for on a weekly/monthly basis has nothing to do with the CSA and how much you pay. You have to pay 15% of your income before any debts etc come off for CM. So Im assuming that £75 figure is your weekly payment plus arrears? You could ask them to lower the arrears payments but they wont lower your normal weekly payment as this is based on your salary0

my net income before loan and after pension and that would be £2000

Are you also paying CM for your other daughter?0 -

This is the figure that they use to calculate CM payments0 -
so they would;nt take into account my rent food or travel to work then ? i may as well quit job if thats the case0
-
No why should they? If that was the case you could go rent somewhere costing a fortune and work far away just to get out of paying? Dont think so. You earn money and pay for things for you so its only fair that your own child gets a share of it also to help pay for things for her.0

I dont pay child support for my daughter as have mutual agreement with her mother and social services.
Also this child with regards to CSA has I have no contact and no relationship with him as I never knew he existed.
You say I should look for somewhere cheaper to live, £75.00 is the cheapest as I can as I struggle at the moment as it is . I dont dispute that I shouldnt pay for this child but at a cost of what I can afford.
I will made homeless and also my daughter would suffer as in process in of getting full custody of her .0 -
So your saying that it will be benificial that i pay csa get made homeless and for my daughter to remain on child protection register and probably get put in home or foster care ? and that i will have to leave work and claim benifits too ?0
