Done deed, complaint logged to the financial Ombudsman Service, have to wait now, could be 8 weeks. I will join the Coop tomorrow, and if this helps people in the further, it will make me smile. We have to stick together, majority of us are honest people and have landed on bad times, we are not scum

Is your medical condition sufficiently serious to qualify under the Disability Discrimination Act ? Google this act and check. If yes, a polite letter to the bank's legal department might get an interesting response.
