Orange - 37 days until contract end

Hi all,

I have calculated that next Wednesday (24th March) is the day I fall within 30 day end of contract.

I am serious about moving away from Orange, as I have spotted a T-mobile deal which appeals to me, £15pm, HTC Touch 2, unlimited internet, and so on.

I can phone Orange today and offer to buy out the rest of my contract (even though it's only 37 days until end)? Do you think Orange would match T-mobile's deal, maybe even beat it (e.g. an HTC Hero).

Any advice on cancelling contracts (slightly) earlier, or deal/phone choice would be greatly received. Never moved away from a mobile company before - been with Orange for 12 years!
