Probably not, but even if there was, why not use a proper taxi insurance broker? I can't believe that someone whose vehicle is their livelihood would seriously consider buying insurance over the internet.

If you want the cheapest policy buy one with Tradex/Westminster. Then see how much fun it is trying to claim from them....

Like I said, if you want cheap then buy a policy from Tradex. Don't say that you weren't warned though.
  • Most people never claim in fear of losing NCB. So what's wrong with cheap! :p

" Cheap " usually means very poor service, hidden charges, things like glass cover not fully covered etc. etc.

Insurance is a service product, not a tin of beans.
  • Hi there, I got mine last year through Swinton and before that through Jelf, I dont think that there is a comparison site, but I found that Swinton was easier to deal with and could use my car no claims aswell.

My DH is a can driver, if there was a comparrison site he would have found it.

Can't understand the people being snooty about it.

No harm in sorting them by price & investigating them in order of price to see which suits your needs.

However not all people want an excellent level of service or feel it has any value to them - insurance is mandatory, doesn't mean everyone wants it.

I'm happy to say I buy on price as the only extra cover I want (DOC - on my last policy oddly enough) isn't available on any new policy for my age group.
Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.
