    nah doesnt cover accidental damage
  • You can get a cheaper AppleCare Protection Plan from eBay.
  • really?how do u know its authentic and going to work?
  • Just look at the reviews and whether the seller is top rated. A lot of people do this anyway and make sure you use PayPal so in case it's a scam, you will get your money back.

I have just been informed by o2 when I called regarding another matter, that my manufacturers warranty of 12months runs out in june on my iPhone & asked if I wished to purchase apples extended warranty. Since my phone was sold on a 24 month contract, surely there is an expectation that the product should last for the purpose of the contract it is sold in conjuction with - isn't that a statutory right?

Nope, the phone and contract are 2 seperate products. The contract you are paying O2 for is the provision of service, and even if your phone is broken, that service is still being provided (you just need to get the phone repaired, or put the sim into another phone).
