I was made redundant last March/April and have not worked since
I am just trying to plan ahead a bit and I know I will have to renew my tax credit claim in the next month or so.
I got an ex gratia payment of a few hundred quid from my company (and that was it) at the end of April of last year
I believe there is some sort of rule to this is it called a PILON payment and therefore for I put down my actual earnings/salary not this payment (I was paid a month in lieu for example)
Will I get a P60 for the amounts I was paid in April and will this include the amounts I have claimed in JSA - it says on the tax credit renewal forms Income based JSA not cont based JSA
Also I claimed Contribution based JSA for 6 months, do I put this down as my income also for tax credit purposes, it says earnings but its not actual earnings so I am a bit confused. I havent had any benefits of any other kind, I wasnt eligible for JSA income based and I havent applied for council tax benefit.

I still have my P45, I offered it at the JC but they didnt seem to know anything about it, when I signed I was also told to fetch copies of my passport etc, they didnt want those either. I am not getting JSA now just signing on for my stamp.0
