Probably about as bad as the genuine ones.

And they're pretty much fatal for your fashion sense :p

I'm sure the real ones are dangerous too. Anyone prepared to pay the prices I see advertised is in need of some sort of therapy.
What is happening to the English Language? These are not isolated, but repeated every day.
'Definate', 'Aswell', 'Rediculous', 'Payed'...and the best of all 'Could Of'. How can anyone think that 'Could Of' can actually mean anything. You may as well write 'Could Zebra' for all the sense it makes.

They look really horrible and daft, I can't see the fascination at all. Can see them being the equivalent to shell suits in a year or two.
Did you know you can get Viagra software now??? Yeah, it turns your floppy drive into a hard drive :D

I bought some of the cheaper versions a year or so ago, they are so flat that you have to sort of shuffle along in them like a little old lady. I walked as far as the shops in them, gave up bought new shoes instead and donated the nasty horrid things to a charity shop on the way home.

I live in an area with thousands of young trendies, all you hear when you are out is the 'shuffle shuffle shuffle' of pretty young girls walking like penguins trying to move along the road in these boots. I'm turning into this horrid grumpy old woman as I want to tell them to stand upright and pick their feet up when they walk as they will have time enough when they are 80 to have to do the unsteady shuffle.

The cheap copies (tesco, new look etc) and fakes are terrible - the soles don't bend and the heels have no support. However the real ones are totally different - i love mine and they are so comfy - could walk for miles in them. :)

my emu's were a god send in the snow!!! I only wear them when its really cold.....
I would say that the soles are not completely flat in the emu's.... But I would never pay full price for a pair of uggs or emu's (mine were bought in true MSE style!!)

Sorry shouldn't laugh but apparently Ugg boots were only intended to be slippers for indoor use. - And a typical sign of aging is forgetting to change out of your slippers before going out!

I bought some from Tesco but use them as slippers! Keep my feet really warm!!

Grrrr... I hate the shuffling too. In 10 years time these young girls will look back on themselves and say 'what on earth was I thinking?'.

only the fakes and the cheap ones make people walk stupid! I had fake ones but my parents taught me how to walk as a child so had no problems... I have the real ones now and they give so much more support and they are warm!!

I can only assume that many of the celebs are wearing fakes as well then as Sienna Miller was shuffling along on a celeb programme last week and Kate Moss was doing a very odd little rolling walk to keep her feet as flat as possible on an old report about her on the news.
