Anyone got a good deal without Cashback?

My mum is looking for a Free phone and looking at spending £15 p/m. It has to be on 02 or Orange. I know there are loads of Cashback offers but she either might forget or the catch might worry her.

Anyone see any good offers?

Also is she was going down the cashback route which company are the best?

Does it have to be a contract phone ?, would a PAYG not be better ?.

How many texts / minutes a month does she usually use ?.

I think she's wants a new phone and no hassle of always putting money on it.

Orange Shop had offers of £100 credit to bills when you trade-in old-mobile. Don't know if they still have it.

Or else, if you don't want a fancy phone, buy a contract and sell the phone and your monthly cost will come down to £15
