been with them for 2 or 3 years now. Fine service, cheap reliable. The couple of times i have rang them been very efficient. To be honest I wouldn't base my decision on the router they provide. It works fine, but you can use any router you wish on the service if it suits you better. But there is no reason you can't put your Xbox through it wired or wireless0

Suggest you also look at O2, as they both use the same LLU network. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
I migrated to Be Value about 3 weeks ago. Compared to my previous provider it's around 90% faster, the monthly allowance is 60% greater, and cost has fallen by 55%. I'd certainly recommend.Stompa0

You'd be pleased with any of the Be (or their sister company o2 home broadband) LLU packages - only one "Be Value" has a forthcoming usage cap which MAY make it inappropriate for you, and the WiFi on all the be/o2 boxes will work with Xbox 360.
Have a checkout of the analyses I maintain of the 15 different cost Local Loop Unbundled Be & o2 home broadband products at
http://cid-99aa6cf1226facfe.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/o2%20Broadband%20-v-%20Be%20There%20Broadband
with cashbacks and incentives you can end up paying between £1.67/month through to £23.19/m - so be informed and choose wisely based your needs/priorities/budget0 -
The router with Be broadband (or O2) is a Thomson TG585 v7 which will connect fine with the Xbox 360 with a USB-to-ethernet adaptor (Xbox Live is the one that can pick up wireless I think...) I don't know if that'll be included with your router but you can pick one up quite easily for a few pounds.
If your son does a lot of gaming maybe you could get Be Pro? http://www.chooseisp.co.uk/broadband-guide/best-buys/gaming-broadband.html0 -
BTW: Turns out that even though I watch out for the offers, o2 have actually IMPROVED their credit offer - you now get £50 o2 mobile credit on new o2 Standard subs too (was just Premium/Pro) - so ASSUMING you would use the mobile credits it means you could be £10+ in pocket for using the service for one year versus paying Be £50 net for Value !
See my link above for updated net-costs.
