  • can you do this with BTinternet, i.e. can I cancel my service with them - I'm out of contract) and have a pay-as-you-go BTinternet e-mail address? I'm fed up with them and their constant extra charges every time I have to move where I live and their !!!!-ups.

Also please how do I go about buying a domain name and setting up my own e-mail address?

thank you from someone who uses e-mail a lot but understands diddly-squat about how the providers / systems work? :D :rotfl:

There are plenty of companies that will sell you domain names.

For .com, .net and .org addresses I've used http://www.godaddy.com while for webspace, .co.uk or .org.uk addresses I've gone to http://www.compila.com. Compila charge around £1 per month for webspace and a domain name - including email.

    Cheers

    James.
