Blog not showing in search engines

Hi can anyone help me? My little sister is a para dressage rider and I have just set her up a blog. This is my first time doing a blog but I think I have managed it ok. The problem I am having is that it won't show up in any search engines. I can understand it being at the very bottom due to very little hits but not being on there at all is a bit worrying. Am I doing something wrong?

You will have to wait until the search engines get round to visiting the appropriate page. It can take a few weeks.. or more. With millions of new pages on the net everyday it is a never ending task.0
