Wondered if anyone else has the same problem when doing a search?

I type in the search criteria then it throws up many pages.So far so good.

BUT when i try to access page 2,3,4 etc a small box appears saying "no matches please try a different term" or words to that effect.

Frustrating 'aint the word!

I find if I try to do a search for my posts using the search facility, not all of them appear (many recent posts are not displayed), meaning I end up clicking my user name and search posts from there. Its very frustrating.

Something else I have noticed, where originally any thread you had a post in included a tick
"" to let you know you have posted in that thread, it no longer shows a tick to remind you.

Did they get rid of that idea?, as I found it very convenient when selecting a particular forum list.

The reason i asked about this was i was wondering if it was my pc that is malfunctioning or whether the site was playing up.It has happened many times.

I've had this occur occassionally too.

I'm not certain, but I think it may happen if you take too long to look at the other pages; I think each search is time limited (which is why links to specific searches don't work as they have usually expired by the time someone else tries them)

Try the search again (start from the beginning and type the seach string in) and then go straigt to the required page and it is usually ok. Perhaps keep the extra pages open in different windows/frames?
