    Good Morning All

Who did you miss off the list Niddy?? - we are not fooled by Washer and your tricks!!

Nargle - no I'm english born and bred, not sure why but I've always used Mom when writing, I prefer the look of the word over Mum (?).

The sun is shining and I'm wishing I was at home in the garden rather than stuck in the office at work.

Blimey theft by finding for that suitcase money, but what could you do, I guess most people would think that if they went back to the charity shop they wouldn't trace the owner. Would you have phoned the police to report it?
I suppose what you could have donewould be to go back to the shop, tell them you found something 'unusual' in a suitcase and leave a contact number in case the previous owners came looking for it.
Wonder if theft by finding is a crime in the UK?

    Back later

Morning fellow TrollBusters - and yes I did get to bed before 1 am but 9 am is early enough for me to get up - none of this 6 or 7 am after 2 pm postings (mention no names - washer) the only time we get up early early is when we are going to car boot (not to do one these days but to meet friends)

I've read through the posts so I am up to date with everyone - still no sign of Horace - where and how is she ???

    Back later on bumping duties

Oh, I had a PM spam last night which I reported - new poster, 1st post, as usual

    Hi all

Its a glorious day here..I even went out without a coat:eek:

I have just been to the jobcentre to give them a piece of my mind...some nice ladies from Pertemps were out on the pavement (not on jobcentre premises at all) asking the unemployed if they were looking for work and if they wanted help etc..its a free service and something that is being part funded by birmingham city council and jobcentreplus..so I copied the details I had been given and went to give them a piece of my mind..to be told by some old bag that they had been reported and told to shift by the security men as they were not allowed to punt nor were they funded by jobcentreplus to which I said that they were via the DWP. You should have seen the withering look I received especially when I said that I wasnt unemployed..needless to say when I recruit staff in the future I won't be using the jobcentre:mad: All the woman could do was huff and puff and try and look self important. Now I could understand it if Pertemps were standing on jobcentre property but they were on the public highway and not causing a nuisance....jeepers the jobsworths at the jobcentre make me sick and I can see why numpty loathes them.

Hi Horace - stranger (where you been hiding?).....

Ahhh difference being that Numpty probably goes to the JC+ at Hunslet which IIR is a bloody dump and half the staff there are numpties themselves.... typically JC staff are not that bad - although some like to think they are.

Next time just ask them awkward questions, to stump them a little ;);)

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes
    P
