What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes

    Good Evening All.

I have made some kitchen decorating progress today. I have bought paint for an undercoat. I have moved out the fridge/freezer and kitchen table and cleaned and scrubbed like mad as it has obviously been far far too long since they were last moved :o.
I have sugar-soaped the bits of walls that needed it (near the cooker, the bin and the dogs food & water bowls), and I have finally bought the new blind for the larger kitchen window (its taken a while to find one the right size).

I have also ordered a new cooker & hob from homebase (15% off today):j.
So lots of prep & planning but not actually started the decorating yet :o. The plan is to paint an undercoat tomorrow, shop for kitchen worktop on Monday and then be ready to paint the kitchen properly easter weekend.

Ooh and I cut the grass as well!

Time to make something to eat and relax methinks.

Have a bumping great weekend all. :j

I shall do my clocks in the morning..best remember to put them forward and not back which I have done before and been found wanting when restaurants have been closed:eek:

I am only thinking about blitzing my flat spoon, I don't yet have the energy. Spent most of the night curled up on the sofa watching Nat Geo (I sometimes get it and then Virgin remember that I am not to have it as I am not on the large package for tv)..saw a fabby programme about Super Diamonds and some programmes about air crash investigations.

Me too, Horace, I get too confused changing them at night, it disorientates me completely :).

Glad you're only at the thinking stage, I thought I would have to get my **** in gear and actually do something:rotfl:

Good Morning Numpty and All who turn up later

    A racing bump

    F1-01-june.gif

To clairfy my seeming burst of activity yesterday I should maybe point out I have been planning and thinking about decorating the kitchen for 3years, and I've had new kitchen cupboard doors and drawers for over a year!!! So you wouldn't say I was really speedy!

My new phone has reset its time, but the other has not. I'll potter round later in and change some of them.
