And I won't be offering to share my marmalade with you.

Hi Tixy - sorry you can't get an animated avi for Paddington - he's cute all the same:D
Hope you're not coming down with H's lurgy and good luck with getting all the work finished. :) Did you go for the maltesers - I would have:D

I actually feel a bit better today, so I'm thinking either the large doses of vitamin c and echinacea or the maltesers must have helped. Just in case it was the latter I might have to have some more today!

Good Morning All. Have a good friday.

Glad you're feeling a bit better today, Tixy, I reckon it was definitely the maltesers - chocolate is great medicine:):)

Oh dear, Numpty, you're in the wars today. My brain frequently stops working when I'm tired - probably the same thing with you.
Great news on the daily clicks, by the way, and it's sunny here as well now:)

Sorry for late first bump - been working this morning. Just off for some lunch now, back later.

    Lovely bump that spoon.

Numpty maybe the piggies could scramble over your back and shoulders to give their own version of massage/acupunture. Though if you have been sleeping on the sofa again then thats probably why you are stiff/sore. Swimming is good for such things -perhaps you can go swimming in wol's stream?

I think my brain is on standby or at least slow motion today.

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes

Hello to all. Welcome to any newcomers who are just starting to post or thinking of posting. Please do not be put off by any negative people, they are in the minority. Most of us are here to work together to support each other on our debt free journeys. So do post and ask for help or ask any questions you have.
