Just letting you all know "I'm getting better" and thanks for the nudge, we are going on holiday in a couple of weeks, I will soon be fit as a fiddle and fighting fit.
Well done to all involved re the spams (you know who you are), it just goes prove how trolls and spammers can and should be dealt with, as well as how this very thread, is spreading the word
Keep up the good work,:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

Another shaggy dog story, from handyman. While I was oop North, Mrs handy had to walk the dogs. Sapper the old Chocy Lab is getting slow now, so when he started rolling on his back on the lawn, Mrs handy walked on thinking he would catch up. 10 mins later she came back to the cottage to find now sign of Sapper.
Its about 5 years since he last went A.W.O.L. ( absent without leave). That time the district nurse was looking for Lord Hooray and left the gate to our cottage open. I found the old lad an hour later, after he had had a swim in the stream:mad: (50 yds downstream of the village sewage works) You’ve seen the film Turner and Hooch, where he is driving his car and the dog is walking along side on the lead, well that was us!.
Mrs H met some walkers on the lane, who asked her if she’d lost something? Like a big soft brown Labrador, They said he was of the end of the lane ½ a mile away, sat underneath the sign for Hooray Hall, just watching the cars go by.
Mrs Handy broke the world record for speed walking to get to the top of the lane, (uphill all the way).
:jSure enough, Sapper was sat there watching the cars go by. When she got a few feet away, she sternly asked him what he thought he was doing? His reply was a deep woof, followed by him bouncing around her like a pup. I think he was waiting for me and his son Flash to come back. I normally take sapper with me but on this occasion, I had to take Flash back to our DD’s.
Funny how animals can make their feelings known? Better than some people I know?
Best wishes to all my DFW mates, handyman123.:beer:Mother Nature Don't Draw Straight lines, We are Broken Moulds in Life's Grand Design, We look a Mess but we're doing fine,

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.
If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.
what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?
firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.
The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!
It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis
PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.
Kind wishes
P
Welcome to the debt free wannabe board. A great place for seeking advice and inspiration and support on getting out of debt. Please read the above in case you come across one of the very few trolls or more frequent spammers that come our way.
Please join in and bump Fred to page one if he is found lost and wandering - Thank you :AIf you can, help others; if you cannot do that, at least do not harm them~Dalai LamaHow people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours~Wayne DyerLet none find fault in others.
