my meeting went well he doesn't want me to go. so he is going to see what package he can come up with to make me stay. i love my job but it is only 20 hours a week and my new job is 40 hours a week sooo if he can match the hours i will stay with my current employee
if he can't then i will have to leave:(, i have been there 14 years so its a big step:eek:. but no matter which way i look at it i will be debt free a lot quicker starting from july:T thanks for asking
That's good news either way, Carol, keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Good evening all, have been busy with guests today, but thought I had better catch up on Fred and all the gossip for 5 minutes! Feeling a bit light headed as had a Kir Royale before dinner tonight (champagne and Cassis cocktail, absolutely delicious but kicks like a mule), reckon I shall crash out like a light once I hit my pit tonight. See you all!One life - your life - live it!0

Hi all, handyman here again. Sorry I’ve not been around for a few days, but as some of you know I was oop north at the weekend to finish decorating my aged relations house. I didn’t get away from Scrumpy land till 3am.
I had been trying to sort car insurance on line, ! Warning get quotes and act a month before it’s due. The difference in quotes between the beginning of the month and end averaged £50.00. Anyway I didn’t get my head down until midnight, then up at 3.
I was working at aged relations at 9.30 and finished at 10 at night.
This weekend I had Son Jon the Con working with me, Now Jon is my youngest stepson, who thinks he’s Jack the Lad but isn’t. He also Likes Niddy’s form of herbal tobacco, so hard graft is (was) alien to him. It also came as a shock to discover that 3 o’clock happens twice a day.
Sunday was more of the same, now I don’t eat when I’m working like this, plenty of energy drinks, dark chocolate, pea nuts Etc.
Now towards the end of the day, I asked Jon to clean out the spray gun we had been using to paint louver doors. We use a spray gun as that type of doors take hours to paint with a brush.
I had finished the job I’d been doing and as I walked through the kitchen saw a bottle of chocolate milk shake I had been drinking a little earlier in the day.
As I was absolutely gasping for a drink, I picked up the bottle, unscrewed the top and took one massive glug! Jon the silly Boogar had only poured the contents of the spray gun into the bottle (white gloss paint) and then forgot to throw the bottle away as it was time to light yet another herbal ciggy.
I was foaming at the mouth, white gloss dripping down my chin, luckily enough it was water based gloss so I could was my mouth with water and then dilute the contents of my stomach with a large amount of Cola. I recon coke strips anything so it wouldn’t do further harm.
We arrived back at Hooray Hall at around 3am this bank holiday Monday.
Apart from a bad case of gas I wasn’t feeling the effects of paint drinking to badly.
This morning ablutions were spectacular, normally you hope that if its perfect, bodily waste will enter the water with the grace of an Olympic diver, entering without even a ripple and leaving the surface of the water undisturbed.
This morning it was like a rusty ships anchor chain, hitting the water a link at a time. I hope that my newly painted ulcer likes the colour. The only advantage to drinking paint is that I can cancel this months dentist appointment for tooth whitening.
Back later to update you on the news from Hooray Hall.
Best wishes to all, handyman123.Mother Nature Don't Draw Straight lines, We are Broken Moulds in Life's Grand Design, We look a Mess but we're doing fine,
