Are you getting into Queens Street station rather than Central? If you're getting into Queens Street, it'd be a shorter walk than being stuck in a taxi in the one-way system.
Thanks for staying up.... (sorry)
I'm going to Central then headed to Queens then Hotel at Theatreland....
Hope that helps - i.e. if i'm in one way then i'll walk some, its pointless spending an hour to do a five mins walk....2010 - year of the troll

different from the North East - FLAT isn't it!!
Tell me about it... I spent a few years in the East Midlands. It was quite a shock after growing up in The Scottish Borders and Loch Lomand being almost on my doorstep in Glasgow!
There was one wee bump that people referred to as a hill!Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

I know exactly where i'm going now - thanks.
In my head I come out of Central (union street) and turn right onto argyll street - keep walking until I get to queens street and take a left - walk up there and Queens Station is at the top..... then I just head onto W George Street to get to the hotel which is on W Nile Street...
Jobs a good un - right? lol
Edit - this is my route - wehey - thanks niccatw

Don't mind the route starting in the middle of no-where though... it was supposed to start from one or other of the stations
.
As long as you're heading away from Jamaica Street when you come out of Central (I don't trust my right and left enough at the moment and am kind of gesticulating wildy in my flat - can't you see), you'll be fine, you've got it sorted

Goodnight all.
Have a good trip Niddy, I'm sure you'll find some tame folks to point you in the right direction if you get confused.
Hey - we have hills in the East Midlands - didn't you see the peak district whilst you were here?!
