Afternoon all..am wondering if it is nearly lunchtime yet?
Its jolly warm in my office but the window is open, the birds are singing and I am drinking some elderflower presse with ice whilst I beaver away. Need to finish my biography, make some more calls, print out an attendance sheet for tomorrow's networking meeting...do my assignments and pay some credit card bills:eek:0 -
A very very very slllllllllllllllllllllllooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwww BUMP
Ooh, got there finally!!
Hi everyone, couldn't get on here earlier to wish everyone good morning, so it's good afternoon all from me instead.
Definitely a lot cooler here today and a distinct lack of sun:(:(. Oh well, think that's our summer gone.
Good luck at school Numpty, happy supervising 3Dogs and don't work too hard TixyThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

I have a meeting out the office this afternoon, I'm hoping it finishes early. Its about 2miles from the office but technically its slightly nearer to home than my office is (around 34miles to home rather than 36 from the office), so reckon after I've finished it'll make sense to go straight home
Has the forum got slightly quicker or do my eyes deceive me?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

Marley - Glad to hear little one is doing fine.
For those at work, hope they don't work you too hard in this heat and let you have extra breaks to get out in the sunshine:)
Not sure if I like the new look for MSE, being a bit slow at the mo.
Have a nice day everyone:)I must stop procrastinating, I must stop procrastinating! promise I'll stop tomorrow OK:D

I am not keen on the new format either Borassic - it was worse earlier when it took 10 mins to lead each page and then it went off air for a while whilst the bodgits had another little tweak. It wasn't broke so didnt need fixing...sigh.0

Hi Geebee.
I'm home from work already so I am having a very good day so far (even if it does mean I have work to do this evening). Hope you are too.
Well the forums have finally speeded up and at least the new format now includes USER CP on the top bar (which the test one didn't have).
I still think certain things have been made a bit too big (the buttons on the post, the on/off light and all that nonsense on the first post of any thread), but I suppose we will get used to it.
I do feel a little sorry for MSE though as they have obviously worked hard and have tried to consult people with the beta version being made available, but whatever changes are made some people are going to be unhappy. Hopefully once this one is fully in place we will see added features and benefits

We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.
what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?
firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.
The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!
It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis
Welcome to the debt free wannabe board. A great place for seeking advice and inspiration and support on getting out of debt. Please read the above in case you come across one of the very few trolls or more frequent spammers that come our way.
Please join in and bump Fred to page one if he is found lost and wandering - ThankyouA smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
