Hey there... been visiting pregnant friend again. We went for a wander around the garden centre, it took a while! I refrained from asking how she's going to manage to plant her veggies before bambino arrives... I'd like to stick around long enough to meet him :rotfl:.Nic, the cheesecake exploded?
More that it didn't quite stay in its (perhaps too small) tin as it rose... instead it graced my oven. But it's not all bad for in a moment of unprecedented genius I put the cheese cake tin inside a big roasting dish so it was easier to lift! Thank goodnesss or it would have been quite a scrubbing job!
Nargleblast, my DD is the same with cookery, just shoves it in the bag on her way home, and looks like a complete mess when she arrives home, when I was at school (showing my age here) we had wicker baskets with a cover on to bring our cookery home, I couldn't imagine her walking around with one of those, "not cool, Mum", she won't even take a Tesco carrier bag to school with her, "not cool, Mum", but if it's a Jane Norman bag then its a different matter (I went in to Jane Norman last time I went shopping, and bought two of those bags, paid a £1.00 but far cheaper than buying something from the shop).
Next time, let me know! I'll post you some down. It's the only "real" shop I buy anything from. There's a few kicking about my not yet completely decluttered room!
NID - enjoy Glasgow, I loved it when I lived there, the people are very friendly.:D
Right, hugs to anyone who is in need, I'm finished my coffee, going to hang the washing out and talk to my plants, they need all the help they can get, why don't they grow like the photos in the books, I do try with the garden, I get disheartened when things die, and they generally do in my garden, rubbish clay heavy soil and a slopping garden, not a great combination, I should have had a bog garden, I think that would have been successful.
What's your success rate with yukka plants? I've killed 4 now! I thought they were easy to look after! I think I maybe drown them. Or starve them. Never a happy medium.
Take care,
WASHER.x.
Hey 3Dogs, welcome along, come join in the fun.

I wondered whether it was the pregnant friend or the Jane Norman comment that gave it away!
But I really wish I'd been able to say, "Nah mate, I'm a bloke. Just prefer Jane Norman clothes" and be able to see your reaction.
Besides, I made the same mistake with Numpty:rotfl:(actually, not the same, the other way around...). Whoops!

Yay..I am feeling tons better after sneezing..I just knew that going out would help. My body always decides when I need to spread the germs around and gives me enough energy to walk past loads of folks (they hang around outside the jobcentre and at pelican crossings), I feel a bit rubbish afterwards but that same day I always perk up and start to feel better.
Welcome 3Dogs - I am not going to pass my germs to you:D
Have made a decision about the council form - so have asked my accountant to prepare a set of accounts for last year which is what the council have asked for and so they shall get:rotfl:0
