I had a nightmare about this happening and it is real. Oh no!

We havent got any family silver left to sell/privatise - maybe the Post Office. All of our red post boxes will disappear. Maybe they will bring in an MSE Tax to get more money. They never make the really rich pay. I am scared and i am an economist.

Other economists are probably happy. It is all subjective. I am a miserable moo. Am going to have a cup of tea and will switch the channels and watch some American things, maybe it'll get better.

As someone who has lived through both long terms of Conservatives and Labour Governments - I must say I'm not that scared at the moment

I think it might be Jeremy Paxman's austerity that is scaring me most. It's all very defensive. It doesn't look good for any of them!

I'm scared because it looks as though the party in charge will have next to no representation in Scotland.

But I'm not convinced there's anywhere any better to migrate to!

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis
