Thanks Solventsoon, hope I did the quote thingy above right, never done it before. Been lurking around for a while reading this thread it makes me laugh, I don't know how you all remember to keep bumping but thought I would join in as I noticed fred had slipped to page 2 earlier. Keep up the good work.:)I must stop procrastinating, I must stop procrastinating! promise I'll stop tomorrow OK:D

Thanks BL - you are welcome to BUMP anytime and you're quote worked just fine and dandy :hello:
We just like to BUMP Fred to keep him where he will get noticed and on the way we pass the time by [STRIKE]discussing the topics of the day[/STRIKE] talking rubbish and generally being mad (as well as advising anyone who needs it - Tixy is the Super Advisor and Niddy is Super Duper Advisor)Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Hi Borassic - new bumpers always welcome. Erm we might remember because we have no real life! Besides once you join in it becomes habit to see what everyone is talking about!
oooh, nearly voting time! Maybe time for some maltesers first I think. It is thursday after all.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Thanks 3dogs. I will keep my eyes peeled for fred although you all seem to do a very good job. It feels like a friendly place here and thanks for letting me know about Tixy and Niddy, although Niddy is helping me out on his thread so I've already 'met' him and a great job he does too.:beer:I must stop procrastinating, I must stop procrastinating! promise I'll stop tomorrow OK:D

Hi Handyman - they're quite a family, The Hoorays, aren't they :T :T :T must be real fun working for them
I have changed names and locations to protect the (not so ) Innocent (myself). But I find since letting off steam about Lady Hooray on this thread I am a much happier person. It wasnt allways this bad with them, His Lordship Has Parkinsons, Dimensia, T.I.A's and a whole raft of medical conditions, which realy does prove that wealth isnt everthing if you dont have the health to enjoy it.
If you visualise a very upmarket Hyacynth Bucket (Bouquet) that is her Ladyship. As I said to nicca, she gave me a lecture on budgeting, while I was unloading 6 cases ( 36 bottles) of wine at £7.00 a bottle and this was the cheap stuff to drink daily at lunch.
She buys T shirts at £100 ea and then says the recession has affected her annuities so she will have to save money by buying the ones at £80
If you look at the cover of this weeks Country Life the house shown is not unlike the one they had oop north when we started working for them.
The reason I stick around is not just because I have had worse jobs, but you never know whats going to happen next.
His Lordship pleads poverty, his family business is listed in the footsie 100. And all family members get a cut. He is so tight they made 50p's with corners so you could use a spanner to get them out of his hand.
I recently had to drive His Lordship and 5 of his mates to an old Harrovian's reunion. Dinner Jackets with Rupert the bear Tartan Trousers.
6 of them in a Land Rover Discovery. When I collected them 4 Hours later those that wernt wearing half the meal down thiere jackets had P'd themselves. Ex Mps Judges, Farmers Business men.
Anyhow more of the life and times of Hooray Hall later.
Best wishes, handyman123.Mother Nature Don't Draw Straight lines, We are Broken Moulds in Life's Grand Design, We look a Mess but we're doing fine,

I just found this in an old file and thought it would be nice to share it with you.
And Then Some
They are the difference between average people and the top people in most companies.
The top people always do what is expected of them...
and then some.
They are thoughtful of others: they are considerate and kind ... and then some.
They meet their obligations and responsibilities fairly and squarely ... and then some .. they are good friends and helpful neighbours ...and then some.
They can be counted on in an emergency ...and then some ...
I am thankful for people like this, for they make the world more liveable.
Their spirit of service is summed up in three little words ...“And them some”
This also sums up you the people I have met on this thread over the last few weeks, Thank you, and then some.
Best wishes handyman123.
