Good evening trollbusters, hope you are not too exhausted after the London Marathon (watching it of course!). Just had chicken salad for our main meal, I reckon that chicken must have given itself up it was that tough and horrible! serves me right for trying to be all MSE and buying 3 for a tenner......I did redeem myself by making some home made mayonnaise out of free range eggs and extra virgin olive oil though, which turned out delicious. Oh well, scrag end of curry tomorrow! Roll on payday, only a few days to go!

Nargle - oh dear to tough chicken - maybe the slow cooker for the next one then?

Fortunately, Solvent, that chicken was the last of the three, so it is back to the free range organic ones again, despite the cost. One of those cases where you really do get what you pay for, I'm afraid!

You're right there, Nargle, can't beat an organic free-range chicken. I think they're better value than the cheaper ones anyway - much more meat on them. One of them lasts us practically a week (OH groans when I bring a chicken home now...)

Popping in for a quick bump (hmmmm, let me rephrase that!) and a look around. Have been listing more stuff on clothes swap site . And saw a gorgeous dress I want for a wedding in July but she doesn't want any of my stuff at the moment so need to get a shift on with the rest and hope she likes something... or I might have to buy it :eek:.

Which would really make the clothes challenge a toughy for this year! Spoon, are you still on zero? I should never "nip into" a charity shop. Never. Never ever!

nicca - yes, I am still proudly on zero - I really do not need anything at all... I have enough clothes to last me three lifetimes, honestly, and that's when I get rid of all the stuff that's going as well:o:o:o:o:o
