Hi niddy, saw your note about your weekend off, hope your staying in good old blighty. I would hate to think you were headed for continental climes and may not get back to secretly secluded because of acts of god, volcanic plumes and monumental hangovers.

If you are headed south this weekend, we may cross paths out on the road, I'm of to a location in the north to put in another 3 days of 18 hrs decorating for my aged relative, any of that red bull left. Have fun you have earned it :wave:

So some of our resident Trollblasters are off to pastures new for a few days? What with Handyman oop north, Sir Numpty Scrumptious darn sarf, Niddy goodness knows where - that leaves Nic in Jockinese land, Solvent covering the North west, 3Dogs in the East, Horace West Midlands, me North Eastish, - sorry, Tixy, you will have to manage all the middle part of the country on your own! I suppose trollzapping beats being stuck in some foreign country having run out of holiday money, waiting for some means to get home....nowt like home sweet home, is there?

Yes Nargle we certainly have the country covered - Tixy can certainly handle 'the middle' no problem - so it's 'girl power' yet again is it???

Hi all - sorry not about yesterday, I had a day of meetings and scoffing. I was invited to a networking dinner last night, I used my paypal account and paid £10 for a night of networking and a two course dinner with coffee and mints - had roast beef, roast spuds, boiled spuds, mixed veg, purple sprouting and yorkie pud followed by a slice of gateau and then coffee and mints. Well, I enjoyed myself so much that I decided that I would join as membership is £25 a year - so once again I dipped into my old paypal account and used the remaining money only adding £11.something of my own:cool:

Went to eye hospital today and the peepers are stable so I dont have to go back for 3 whole months.

Stupidly decided to have an ice cream tonight - the van stopped outside but by the time I got down stairs he had moved off and as I caught up with him, he drove off:mad: - eventually caught him and gave him what for about waiting as I had had to run down from the top floor (a little white lie, I only had one set of stairs to get down and not two) and that we didnt have lifts. Well, I wish I had never eaten the poxy thing - it was white and didnt taste of ice cream and I have felt icky ever since:mad:

I am off to bed now - I am pooped.

I once asked a Jock girl what a SASENACH was, she said it was a little sunburned engish man who annoyed jock girls, I said is that right.
