    Morning All

Sorry I didn't get on yesterday, it was a bit hectic, got up to finish the painting at silly oclock am, then watched the grand prix, after that called round to grandmothers with some shopping, then went to the supermarket, called at a friends, back home to do lots of housework, then went to the folks later.

Now in good news the painting is finished except for the radiator & the door. What sort of paint do people use on radiators? emulsion? satinwood/gloss? or proper radiator paint? I'm never sure which to choose.

Morning everyone, hope the trollzappers are all in good spirits today:D

Hi Tixy - sounds as though you had a busy day yesterday. Well done on finishing the painting - hope you're pleased with the final result?

Re the radiators - we've used gloss paint in the past when matching the radiator to the wall, but we've used radiator paint recently. Both seem OK, so depends if you want to match the radiator to the wall or not -radiator paint has a fairly limited colour range. I don't think you can use emulsion, not sure it would stand up to the heat - but I'm willing to be proved wrong on that one.. Hope that helps a bit.

Off to do some work now - back later:D

Afternoon all - after a grey start, the sun is just starting to come out a little

Tixy - well done on all the decorating - I agree that ordinary gloss is fine as long as you apply to a cold radiator and do not use it for a day or two or the heat seems to affect it. You are such a busy girl - all that decorating, etc and then, having just been looking down the threads, you have spent your morning advising newbies - it's Tixy Tixy Tixy as last poster nearly all the way down - way to go gal :A :T :T :T :T

Yeah, I've got a skipping Tigger, 3Dogs.... had a Tigger bouncing on his tail before that, but the tail was getting a bit tired with all that bouncing, thought I should give it a bit of a rest:rotfl:mind you, the skipping isn't doing it much good either:rotfl:

I've always loved Winnie the Pooh and Tigger was always my favourite.. glad I have a fellow fan now:j:j:j

I always liked Eeyore too. eeyore6.jpg

I know how he feels - that cloud is usually above Glasgow! Although the volcanic ash must have absorbed the rain as it's been sunny for almost a week now (I really hope I haven't just jinxed it!)

Tixy - I'm somewhat older than you and I have a bouncing Tigger (a bit like yours) as well......:o:o Not something I usually admit to, I have to say:o

I do like eeyore as well though, in fact, I like all of them really, just have a soft spot for tigger, love his enthusiastic but slightly dim face - bit like mine most of the time:)

nicca - the reason we've had such beautiful sunsets and little rain over the last few days is apparently down to the volcanic ash - don't ask me, no idea how it worksconfused-smiley-17432.gifconfused-smiley-17432.gif I think the cloud you have over Glasgow does a time share with Manchester - there's a permanent cloud over here as well:(

Hope you're both well today - quiet on here today (or have I just jinxed that now..)

Yep quite quiet today - it must be because niddy isn't around ;)

The radiator will be white so I guess I could paint it with either gloss or radiator paint then - but no heating for 2 days  Tixy is a bear that likes to stay warm.

    Oh and Spoon
    - i actually have an eeyore that talks as well (doesn't bounce though of course!)
