OK, so there's a TROLL on NSD thread - I have reported it but what else is there to do?? When I tried first to report it, it would not go through on Windows Live so I copied the details to my e-mail account and did it from there - will that be OK??

    Hi 3Dogs

Thats fine to report them via any email address (doesn't matter if its not the email account registered on here). If its clear they are being a nuisance on lots of threads I tend to report the whole member as well as a thread (by copying the address of the user profile into the email).
To be honest there is often not much else you can do after reporting them other than try to keep them busy or at least keep an eye of where they are posting so if they attack someone new or vulnerable you can reassure that person.
If its someone particularly nasty or causing a lot of problems then I sometimes look to see if any of the MSE team are online (by looking at the bottom of the main forum page) and will then bring it to that person's attention.
In the case of places like daily chat and NSD threads there are probably plenty of people who are experienced to ignore them or generally take the !!!! out of them.

I love basset hounds - we had one as a kid, I wouldn't have one though, hounds will eat anything, not matter how disgusting they'll eat it.

Just want to say to say thanks to everyone for the nice words, don't worry Niddy knows his place is behind the sofa (like a troll, under a bridge), but I do appreciate the nice words :D:D

No doubt the majority of people have seen the thread in question, lets just hope the poor woman gets sorted before she goes doo-lally eh! :)

Have a great day everyone, i'll be on night watchman shift again til early next week so worry not, there will be no trolls visiting here through the early hours

Aye oop gang, just catching up on all your shenanigans.....our visitors left yesterday evening so have been catching up with washing/housework/correspondence today, in between opening birthday cards (yes, I am a year older today, a spring-born feisty Aries). My DD has her 21st tomorrow (bit of bad planning on my part 21 years ago) so will ring her tomorrow and see if she liked the prezzy (nice clock). She gave me a box full of oriental cooking ingredients and a Yo Sushi Japanese recipe book, as she knows I am into food.....lots of experimenting to do when we next get guests.
Oh well, off to catch up on some other threads before chilling out for the evening with the remains of a bottle of red vino (don't tell Wol, as I have been nagging at her to put her leftover wine in the freezer for cooking with instead of shoving it down her neck).
