UK Mobile calling abroad help.Please

Hi after info
a friend is wanting to call abroad Turkey
to Turkish landline & turkcell mobile number

they want to make these calls
from a uk mobile they have an unlocked phone
so can use any sim is there anyone sim tariff thats better
than others or could a site where you dial an access number
first be better (not sure about sur charges this way though)

only sim i know is Lebara

i have used the localpne site to call turkey...
its very easy and quick and best of all you can see how much the call is costing you. i called turkcell from my land line via a local number they give you.:T
