I have been reading some threads on the RBS / NATWEST applications Verification Unit (AVU) and how some applications can be turned down even after the account has been opened !, so I just wondering when I will be safe to assume my account is 'Okay' and can't be closed, is it when. 1) It appears on Internet Banking ? 2)…

I dont believe AVU have a direct number for customers.

You just have to speak to the account opening team.
