Oh my, there are lots of poorlies on here so lots of hugs to you all esp Ruth, L-L, Diva, Toots, Sandy, Vanilla and her DH, Mum to 5 and everyone else I've missed - hope you all get better or the results you want very quickly and I hope that Ruth takes her time over all the decisions she's facing and takes time to grieve.

ETA - Wilf - good luck with DD and her BF, my Mum used to tell me when I had a carp BF but I ignored what she was saying - trouble is she was always right Grrrrrrrrrrr

I've done nothing off the list - shame on me, but the outside is calling so I've been shopping and have dug over [well, started] the potatoe patch which is the front garden!! Hope no-one pinches them when they are fully grown.

Pigpen - what a KH he is - full marks for not decking him, I know how hard that must of been

Off to get some lunch now and then maybe I'll look at the list but not promising as I have onions to plant and peas and runner beans to pot up and we're due rain tomorrow so I could do the housework then hehe

Wilf - I think that sounds like a perfect pressie. At that age men are so hard to buy for as they have everything and just tell you they want nothing! I bought my Dad a digital photo frame for Xmas and loaded up a dongle so that he had the photos ready loaded - he loves it - I would of done a scrapbook but I know my limitations [I'm carp at doing crafty stuff although I love it]

There's a site called Madaboutcards that has lots of stuff that they sell cheap and there is a thread on here somewhere about crafting stuff and they would help out with ideas and [don't I go on] there is a thread called "new thrifty gifty" and there are people on there who do scrapbooks who could help out.

What a lovely idea :), lovely birthday gift and also shows how great a time you had too. If you have, or can get hold of lots of things like that you could even do a 'This is your life' type red book? My Mum loved something similar I did but it was photos of her with us and the kids from them being babies upward, high days and holidays with comments:D. I did it with a photo company and a voucher, cost very little and she still accosts folks with it as it is a handy handbag size.

    Afternoon all

I've been very disciplined and done an hour's flying before coming on here.

Fracture clinic went ok. DS2's arm has healed enough to have the cast off but he has a splint to wear for 2-3 weeks and no sport for 3-4 weeks - he's gutted and a bit teary poor thing.

Pooh - has your snow all gone yet?

Sandy - hope your appointment went well sweetie

Lady Liberty and Toots - special love for you both

Just going to finish washing up and then I've promised myself 1-3 in the garden
