Oh Ruth I just don't know what to say to you other than heart felt ((HUGS)) It is true your mum can no longer hear you in this world but she definitely can hear you from where she has gone. As you know we are all here for you in any way that we can help, thank you for sharing the last few days with us.
I was trying to think of the right words to say but AnW's mum has said them perfectly. Massive hugs to you RuthG
I have been wondering this morning, do people have the TV on, listen to music or fly in silence?

I've got Gold on DD2's rather nice DAB stereo system at the moment and squawking along quite happily to things like Oh Boy and looking forward to the Beatles' day they are advertising for tomorrow, although my neighbours may not, even though I know it is at least vaguely in tune. Oh, and I wasn't even born when these were first released.

On another day, it could be Blondie, Underworld, Chicane, Archive, Portishead or French TV (hoping for a bit of immersion learning there)

What music do other people put on for cleaning?

[good grief, Running Bear is on now]
I fly in silence when there's noone else here. I used to like noise on all the time until I had the children then I had to be all ears so there's rarely anything on unless its the children. Today is deliciously quiet.

Sorry I didn't mean anyone on here. I rand DH and he said he was too busy, rang a friend who said "Oh stop complaining you will be fine" I gave up after that:(

I had my cast removed to day and my arm has healed at last, just need to build it back up.
Recently I have been having some strange symptoms which I have been trying to ignore but the nurse noticed some today, shakes, losing balance, trouble focusing. Didn't tell her the rest, just said it was fine.
She has requested an urgent appointment with my neurologist and someone should ring me later today.
I am so worried I don't know who to turn to. I'm sorry for complaining I know people are worse off than me here but I don't really have many friends:(

I feel like I am wading through cement today, that coupled with CBA means not much is getting done but I am getting some things done so not a total loss.

sandy as you know we are here if you want to share with us.

ETA Blimey that must be scary for you but a referral is being made which should shed light on what is happening. It is always easier to deal with something if you know what that something is. Make sure you tell them all your symptoms so they can give you the right diagnosis and help.

  • In my HHC I've rehomed the obvious in the wrong place items (always amazed what a difference this makes), and packed doggie guest's case (he goes later), WM unloaded and onto line, next lot in, banking sorted for later & to do list assembled.

Huge hugs to Ruth & Sandy - thinking of you both.
