Carphone Warehouse don't send out receipts!

I bought a jawbone bluetooth from Carphone Warehouse by telephone for my DH.

Their was no receipt in the box & none arrived in a separate envelope.

So I called them this morning & they said they didn't send receipts!

I said what if it should go wrong?

They said they scan the item, so I said "so every item I buy from you I have to keep the packaging in case it wrong?

She didn't seem to understand what I meant & just said "we scan it", but there is nothing to scan on a bluetooth, unless you keep the packaging.

Good job they don't sell really big items:eek:

I took a mobile phone back to them for repair. No box, no receipt. They scanned the IMEi number and details of where and when I purchased it popped up on their computer terminal, so they might operate a similar system for other goods.

But a bluetooth headset won't have any of that will it.

A jawbone head set is minuscule.

I really doubt it has a serial number on it.

As long as you can confirm the name and address that the item was ordered with they will be able to find the purchase.

It will have, probably inside rather than on the outside.
