if you want cheap and cheerful food. £5.25 before 7pm. a lot of people tell me they do that when they stay around here for thorpe or legoland.

Thanks, I have enough change, so we should be ok. We'll probably get there before 6pm so fingers crossed there will be space.

Thanks, I did have a look at places nearby, but didn't see that. We'll probably just have a bar meal at the hotel, but will see what else is near when we get there.

Using public transport to get from this Travelodge to Thorpe park would not be easy or cheap as you would first have to go via Heathrow which is a little distant from the hotel. Taxi would probably be better.

If you haven't already booked there is a Travelodge at Staines and one at Feltham. Although Feltham looks a little distant it is an easy journey by public transport - train from Staines to Feltham takes about 10 minutes and the buses go from Staines station and the bus station (5mins walk from station) to Thorpe park.
