How long does it take to get a refund from them? I ordered Tuesday last week and cancelled on Wednesday after they asked for a copy of ID (don't have a scanner/fax) but haven't had a refund yet. If they're not willing to post the item without additional ID they shouldn't debit you card without it either! I also paid for quick delivery but didn't get the email until the next day which was annoying. In the end I ordered elsewhere and got my camera the next day.

Paypal ask for this when you need to prove evidence of identity when you are changing your name. I would be suspicious myself, check their TOC and privacy statements(the boring stuff that nobody ever bothers to read) if it doesn't state it in there and they weird stuff starts to happen then you can take them to the cleaners.

Refunds via cards can take a very long time... normal rule is up to 2 weeks as it takes 5 working days for them to actually receive the funds and then 5 working days for the funds to go back into your account - most companies wont give money back to you from their own pocket before the money appears in their account incase something goes wrong with the transaction and your money never turns up.

Given that some card processing can take longer than 5 days so refunds will take longer still
