Calling Australia by Mobile

Hi all,

What is the cheapest way to call an australian mobile number from a U.K. mobile number?

At the moment, I have been recommended using call2Abroad which charges 7p per minute. You need to have inclusive minutes to call a landline number also.

Any better deals than that?

    I use http://www.18185.co.uk using your mobile "free allowance" it will cost you 2p p/m to Australian landline and 8p p/m to an Aussie Mobile.
    If phoning OZ from your mobile you will dial 02081802828 from your mobile then follow the prompts, if phoning from your landline dial 18185.
    I have been using them for years and can recommend them.

    T-Mobile are reasonable to mobiles in Australia - 12p, which ain't as good as 7p, but seems to be the best I can find out of the networks www.t-mobile.co.uk/int

    having said that, you'd have to mess about with a new SIM- but no shortcodes/dialling codes
