There seem to be many PPC's around. If you look on Crabmans WHAT TO EXPECT thread you will see the various types of PCN's around.

If possible, try to scan in your PCN (remembering to wipe any personal details and numbers), and post it to that thread, so people can see the basic layout, logo, and notes that this PPC write. Crabman will move it around for your once you have posted it.

Still can't find a location for the postcode BA13 9AL. BA13 is just outside Bath, but that's about it.

    hmm

they're not very unique though are they?

    and they're not very distinctive.

perhaps they took their inspiration from batrouni fruits ?

that wording appears on dozens of web sites across the internet.
  • Yes, true. Slightly irrelevant perhaps but heres a short list of sites that also use this exact phrase to welcome you...

    woodcreations.net
    bikeshirts.net
    batrounifruits.com
    global-sc.co.uk
    quantfellows.co.uk
    fenrisfilms.co.uk
    derbyshirebonsai.co.uk
    truckwize.co.uk
    ehi.org.uk

... and thats just the first page google bought back to me of many. Though, that was slightly off topic but they are all mostly websites created using a basic and free to use web page creator, that even I used in my GCSE IT course. Poor Everything parking Limited, too similar to everything else to stand a chance.

    including this:

they do say immitation is the greatest form of flattery.
  • First ever post, woop.

Had a panic today after receiving a fine from Everything Parking 20 days ago. Googled it, came across this page. Noticed it was a few months old so wanted to query if the OP paid/didn't pay the fine and what happened? Or if anyone else received a fine and didn't pay what the result was? any response is much appreciated, Cheers

Most of the regular posters on here have had PPC invoices and successfully ignored them. Some of us even "collect" them.
A lot of people take our advice to ignore and never come back, because nothing happens. Don't worry and carry on ignoring!

It's such a common scam we can all tell you what happened. Nothing except some threatograms (debt collector letters) which the poster will have ignored. :)

It's so common that almost everyone on this board has had at least one private parking ticket and ignored it (mine was over a year ago). There is no risk in ignoring everything in the absence of sealed, genuine Court papers (which won't come).

Just ignore them and the debt collector letters that will follow. You can see a preview of the letters to ignore, in the first post of the first thread on this board, I expect they will use one or other of the common debt collector letter-chains:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...play.php?f=163

Plus you'll see by the number of current threads (of which there are pages and pages!) on that link, just how common this scam is. Your question has been asked before lots of times, this thread is one of hundreds! Read some threads on the link above, then look back pages and pages and pages - except for the odd Police or Council ticket and clamping case - all of those threads are from people like you.

All the same, all ignored, doesn't matter who the PPC is. Nothing will happen.

You will just get some free paper aeroplanes (see this Watchdog link to see why that's funny!):

  • ok, awesome. Thank-you to you both for your reassurance and quick response. Much appreciated.
I shall follow your advice and feel better/slightly more wealthy for doing so.
    Thanks again
  • You've all been great!
I knew there was something up with that ticket!
    :)
  • Hello all,

After reading the previous notes, i wish to add my own experience.

Given a PCN by Everything Parking in an area that has: 1st 2hrs parking for free, then chargeable after this period, no problem.

Driver was not aware that you need to obtain a ticket from a machine first of all, as no ticket machines could be seen from the car.

Anyway, ticket issued on the screen, does not bear a name of driver just date time and reg no.

Can someone please help as i don't know if i should ignore this as previous comments advise.

    Many thanks in advance :(
