''Everything Parking Limited'' Parking Charge Notice

As mentioned elsewhere I recieved a ticket from these guys, I stopped for 15 minutes tops in a car park where there was no ticket machine and the only sign was obscurred in a tree. Then I come back to this. £50 or £80 if not within 14 days but, more to the point, I have never heard of Everything Parking Limited before... Who? The ticket seems to be filled out like a normal government parking charge except this PPC returns very little when quickly googled, neither can you pay in any other way than cheque. To add to this, I need to pay a place in Bath, whilst I mylsef parked in Dorking... it's some journey. Any help at all about these guys? Cheers.

Usual advice is to ignore, don't admit who the driver is, don't pay, don't appeal (it'll only fail anyway) Don't contact, Don't worry.

  • Never heard of them, but they sound like just another bunch of low life pond dwelling parasites. Ignore them.

Glad to see you started your own thread about these con-merchants, so people can learn about a new private parking scam company. :)

Same advice applies as I gave you here earlier, ignore the ticket and debt collector letters:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=30795549&highlight=#post30795549

Now relax if you have read a few threads on the forum board link I gave in the discussion thread, by now you will understand that this is not a ticket that should ever be paid.

Be glad you haven't fallen victim to their scam and enjoy your life.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Yeah thats the address - or at least postcode on the ticket. There really is limited information on the ticket about them, it just says to send a cheque to PO Box 4402, bath, BA13 9AL. No telephone numbers or emails etc. Ive found out the building they are supposedly located in happens to be home to a multitude of different small time companies, some small phone companies and even a small call centre. It all seems a bit... well, you know. Thanks for all the help so far.

Rosenberg92, the post code BA13 9AL doesn't call up any addresses.

However, http://etparking.com gives a little more, including a phone number and a mobile! The .net address doesn't work.

    Anymore details from the PCN?

  • Thanks alot for that help :)

The PCN is very limited, as if the person who submitted the ticket really doesnt want anyone to know who they are, where they are or what they do. Just a PO Box and the postcode BA13 9AL. I learnt PO Boxes can be bought from the post office, around £65 a year. In theory anyone could rent one out and within 2 tickets (providing they fooled you) they could have made that money back plus a bit on the side, without anyone ever knowing who the monies gone to, or where. Also, Royal Mail will send the PO Box mail to your address to save you collecting it, for an additional £15 a year. Again, seems so easy to do that anyway, if they had a bit of time to go about it, could very easily scam off quick £50 a go tickets.

Ill see what else I can find out, just for the record, has anyone else been caught by these guys before? Or do I seem to be the first...
