were having orange and cream lily's for table displays x8, a larger and 2 smaller displays for top table, arrangement for cake, 3 bouquets for our grandparents graves, 7 gents buttons, 4 ladies buttons, my bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets all for £225 although I realise this is cheap, shes a local florist who works from her garage at home and has been reccomended by local people to me. I would say shop around, don't just go to your local florist chain shop, find the ones who supply to business's ie care homes.

my bouquet with crystals in it.
    2 BM bouquet
    5 button holes
    one massive table display thing.
    10 balloons on weights.

    £205.
    Bump due 22nd September
  • I was just about to start a new thread about my flowers as I've just had the pics from Kayloublue on ebay and I'm VERY excited! I'm having foam roses, and the total cost is £127.92 for:
12 single rose buttonholes with diamante pin and spray of pearls
    2 corsages for the Mums
5 bridesmaids posies - 6inch diameter with diamante pins
My bouquet - a 6inch rose dome with diamante pins and beargrass sprays.

My bouquet is costing less han a normal 10 inch bridal bouquet because I'm quite petite and a normal bouquet looks ridiculously big, but a bigger bouquet from her still only costs £29.99! Cannot praise this lady enough - and I know she's been commended on here before, but her correspondence is great, and she's made me another bouquet from scratch because the first one she made for me wasn't quite what I wanted...
Oh, and super quick turnaround - bouquets are ready to send a week after I paid! And being foam, you can order them when you want and they last forever! To be honest I saw some real touch roses at The National Wedding Show which blew me away, but quite frankly, the foam roses LOOK great and are much more MSE! Very very happy with my choice!:T

Im doing my flowers myself. Purchasing from either flowers4florists or triangle nursery. Flowers4florist have a minimum spend of £160ish and Triangle Nursery dont have a minimum spend but charge for delivery.

Ive worked out that enough flowers for my tear drop bouquet, BM handtied bouquet, 10 rose buttonholes, 8 table arrangements, 1 long top table arrangement, 12 church window arrangements and 4 pedestal arrangments works out at about £150.

Im going to have a practice over easter with some flowers from the supermarket and see how i get on doing DIY flower arrangements!

We're just having my bouquet and his buttonhole plus flowers for the cake for £92 delivered, which I think is reasonable.

Mine are from Kayloublue too :) I am so thrilled with them and she is really helpful too. We had by bouquet a teardrop one, wrist corsages on bead bracelets, 10 buttonholes and three regular corsages plus a handbag one. Oh! and a wand! Cost about £110.

Have a look at ehow.com there are videos of how to make various bouquets and arrangements. You can do it step by step as you watch the video!
