Cost of your "real" flowers?

Options
Hi Girls.

Well the wedding date is getting closer and I still have to decide on flowers!

Could I ask what your flowers are costing and what you are getting for that price.

Just cannot decide on fresh or fake. Have had a quote for fake but interested on costings of real flowers.

Our local florist can do either a brides posy style for £25 up to a big teardrop for £45, I am looking at something inbetween. Button holes are £2.50 and daughters posy is £15! Which I thought was really good!

  • I'm having my bouquet (smallish one), x4 small bridesmaids bouquets, x3 buttonholes, x7 small table displays and one hand tied gift bouquet all for £200. I'm using seasonal spring flowers and nothing sparkly or whatnot is being added. Quite a good price I think!

I made my bouquet by butchering a pre-made one from dunelm mill and adding bits in - cost less than a tenner. Would post a picture but it's packed in a box to go away for next weekend's wedding (course now the fella's caught man flu which I'm bound to get and be ill during my own wedding, I've got a killer coldsore on me mush and the cat's taken a chunk out of my eyebrow - cunningly covered by getting a fringe cut!).

  • I visited florist recently and go back on march 27th. The boquet I was looking at was £55. It is a small teardrop boquet with ivory roses and seagrass sprayed silver. I also have to get 2 x smaller posies for bridesmaid and flowergirl and 4 x buttonholes am hoping it will cost no more than £200.
